Dear Tom,
I have to send my sincere gratitude to you regarding a catering event that we recently had. My new husband and I were married on June 27th and we had The Food Guy cater the wedding. Cindy Harless and the team went above and beyond our wildest expectations! Our team captain, Judy, led the team smoothly through the evening. Cindy was at our event to assure things were running efficiently for us. This was so comforting to have her there, as we know that she probably had many other events that weekend. This showed her true commitment to her clients. She even helped me get a wine stain out of my wedding dress!
All of the guests were treated very respectfully and raved about the food. Everything was set up as expected, and things were put together and placed in a very rapid manner, assuring things moving forward smoothly, as we anticipated.
My husband's family retired from the catering business after 2 decades. They were so pleased to see such wonderful traits from The Food Guy, as their expectations were very high, (frankly we were a little worried about their opinion)! Since the wedding, they have mentioned many times that they wish they had a team on hand, such as the one present for the wedding, to work with back in Chicago.
Every single guest that we have spoken with since the wedding has mentioned how wonderful the food was. We had salmon on our menu, and have had a few people tell us that they do not like seafood, and had second helpings of the salmon served that evening.
As stressful as a wedding can be, Cindy and the team took so many worries off of us. She and the team were professional, easy going yet attentive, kept things moving, and were a true pleasure to work with. We definitely will recommend anyone to use The Food Guy as their caterer for their special event. The evening was seamless and I know that The Food Guy played a part in that!
